How to produce organic fertilizer by aerobic fermentation of chicken manure

Chicken manure is the most nutritious and comprehensive raw material among all livestock and poultry manure to produce organic fertilizer. Fresh chicken manure contains about 1.63-2.34% nitrogen (N), 1.54-2.32% phosphorus (P2O5), and 0.8-0.85% potassium (K2O), and the organic matter(OM) content is about 20-30%.

But the chicken manure must be fully decomposed before use. Parasites and their eggs, also some infectious bacteria in the chicken manure will be inactivated during the decomposition process.

Process of ecological organic fertilizer produced by chicken manure fermentation

Adjust the moisture of the mixture of fresh chicken manure and rice husk (or other raw materials) to about 60%, and the carbon-nitrogen ratio (C/N) to between 20-40%. Use biological fermentation to heat and sterilize. Raise the temperature of the pile to 50-70 degrees for 7-10 days to achieve harmless standards.

Fermentation machine: Turn raw materials, add oxygen, adjust humidity and temperature, and promote rapid fermentation reaction. Fermentation machines most include fermentation tank, crawler-type fermentation machine, chain-type fermentation machine, and wheel-type fermentation machine etc.

Crusher: Crush the fermented compost into fine powder. It is recommended to use semi-wet material crusher, which is suitable for compost with moisture content of 30-50%.
