 Sulfur-Coated urea SCU production line

Sulfur-Coated Urea which short for SCU, is a slow released compound fertilizer, and made by coating sulfur around urea with the help of Microcrystalline Wax Sealant. The amount of sulphur and wax determine the level of nitrogen release. SCU product generally contains 30%-40% nitrogen and 10%-30% sulphur, with a release period of 30-180 days to meet the nutritional needs of different crops.SCU usually have below three levels.

Type I N≥39 S≥10 Slow release period 1-2 month

Type II N≥37 S≥15 slow release period 2-3 months

Type III N≥34 S≥19 slow release period 3-5 months

The main process flow of SCU

Raw material feeding system- melting tank system for sulfur and wax- coating drum system- cooling system- screening system- packing system- controller room

This SCU process adopts fully automatic PLC to control of molten sulphur and wax flow, temperature, angle of rotation and rotating speed by PLC, and 12 kinds of release procedures for precise control of nutrient release.
